Commissioning Work
If you haven't commissioned cartoons or humorous illustration before, we hope this information will be helpful to you: You may already have a clear idea of what you want, or you may be looking for ideas (something that we all specialise in). Either way we can help.
WHAT DO WE NEED FROM YOU:
It is always helpful to us if you can provide any or all of the following information:
- What the cartoon is for (e.g. illustrating a magazine article, an advertisement, a greeting card, a website, etc.)
- The usage (e.g. where and how the cartoon will be used - local or national publication, print-run, etc.)
- Colour or black & white
- Size
WHAT YOU GET FROM US:
Whichever one of us you contact, we will provide, free of charge, either an estimate or a firm quotation, depending upon how much information you can provide initially.
Once a price has been agreed, you will be provided with some rough ideas or visualisations. Any revisions can be made at this stage and then, when you are happy, finished artwork will be provided, usually in digital format via email or on CD or DVD. The number of roughs and revisions will depend on what is agreed at the time the quotation is given. And that's it!
